November of 2000 I have made so many friends along the
way as I have built this car. The car was featured at
over half a dozen Hot Import Nights shows across the
United States and various other car shows across the U.S.
Has won over half a dozen trophies and cash prizes, has
been featured in Eurotuner Magazine (October 2002), was
featured at SEMA 2002, has travelled over 120,000 miles
across the U.S. (always driven, never trailered), and has
had the priveledge of being photographed with some of the
most beautiful models ever... Thanks to everyone who helped make this project come to life and to everyone who believed in me, even when it seemed the impossible... History: Welcome to S40Concepts.net. This site originally launched in 1999 as ClassicCats.cc, a new dynamic website with a new approach on the automotive genre. The original site focused on a 1986 Mercury Cougar, by 2000 the idea exploded into a 2001 Volvo S40 Racing BTCC Replica. 2001: S40Concepts.net is born. To log and follow the progress of the 2001 S40 Project the site was launched, a forum was introduced, and a select group of followers make this one of the most visited websites for S/V40 owners. S40 logo introduced. An owners gallery is also implemented. 2002/2003: Website redesign twice, ClassicCats.cc name dropped. 2003/2004: New site design under development. S40 logo Trademarked and Copyrighted © 2003-2004 S40Concepts.net. 2004: V40Concepts.net launches, S40Concepts sister site, V40 Project begins 2005: S40 Project is retired. V40 Project continues. V40Concepts closes due to lack of project funding. 2006: S40Concepts launches E-Store. V40Concepts in re-development. |
